Rodier's story began in the heart of Picardy in the North of France, with a family of weavers, the Rodiers. In 1852, the founder of the dynasty, Auguste Rodier, became a true pioneer, whose weaving techniques converted the Rodier house into one of the biggest textile manufacturers working with the biggest names in haute-couture. Chosen by Paul Poiret, Chanel, Grès and Dior, Rodier textiles left their mark in the haute-couture world.
